W. T. "TIM" ASMUSSEN
The owner of Factfinders, Inc., W. T. "Tim" Asmussen,
has a degree in Criminal Justice, began his investigative career in
1973 as a police officer and was named the Detective of the Year in
1978. In 1979, he left the police department to enter the private sector,
specializing in accident and criminal defense investigations. He has
conducted investigations of commercial diving, aircraft, industrial,
motor vehicle, offshore oil production and many other types of accidents.
He has also been involved in the investigations of many criminal defense
cases….several high profile.
Mr. Asmussen is a member of the National Association of Legal Investigators, and is the current President of the Louisiana Private Investigators Association and the Region III Director for the National Council of Investigative and Security Specialists. He is a NALI Certified Legal Investigator, a Louisiana Certified Investigator and a Mississippi Certified Investigator. He has been an instructor and guest speaker at several Universities on the techniques of legal investigations, has instructed District Attorney investigators in the art of locating people and has provided training to legal secretary associations on how their members can take a productive part in the investigative process.
KENNETH W. "BUD" CAGE
Legal investigator, Kenneth W. "Bud" Cage,
previously worked for an insurance company in its risk management department as an outside adjuster. He conducted investigations of Workers' Compensation Claims for determining fraud, subrogation, and second injury fund. Investigations included interviewing injured workers, the insured, and witnesses. He has experience in conducting site investigations and securing photographs of the site. He also worked in the Loss Control Department as a Safety Consultant.
SCOTT JOHNSON
Legal investigator, Scott Johnson was born and raised in the Baton Rouge area and has eight years of combined service in the U.S. Marine Corps and the LA Army National Guard. He attended Louisiana State University where he was awarded a B.A. in Sociology with a concentration in Criminology.
Mr. Johnson has a working knowledge of plant operations and residential construction, which provides a basis for conducting investigation's into industrial and residential related accidents. Mr. Johnson has experience in personal injury investigations, skip-tracing, and pre-trial investigation. He also has experience in civil process service and locating and interviewing witnesses.
Mr. Johnson is a current member of the Louisiana Private Investigators Association, and is working toward attaining certification in the field of legal investigations.
CANDI OSBORNE HARVEY
Legal Investigator, Candi Osborne Harvey has a Bachelor's Degree in Criminology and has attended Law School at Louisiana State University. Ms. Harvey has experience in personal injury, sexual harassment and maritime investigations, as well as skip-tracing, computer research and process service.
Ms. Harvey is also experienced in background and insurance fraud investigations, witness locations and interviews, surveillance and general trial preparation assistance and is a member of the Louisiana Private Investigators Association.
